"I did this scene in ‘Lars and the Real Girl’ where I was in a room full of old ladies who were knitting, and it was an all-day scene, so they showed me how. It was one of the most relaxing days of my life. If I had to design my perfect day, that would be it. And you get something out of it at the end. You get a nice present. For someone who wants an oddly shaped, off-putting scarf."

frank-schlongbottom:

i used to think that a foot of parchment was a lot and feel bad when harry potter characters were assigned to write that much

but then i realized the paper i write on is 8.5 by 11 inches.

so a foot of parchment is the equivalent of like, not even a page and a half of paper.

they complained SO MUCH about essays that were like

a page and a half

wtf guys

get your shit together

A huge storm just blew through here. It’s still going but calmed down. A tree fell into the neighbors’ house beside me and one fell in our backyard but just missed our garage. It was literally hailing chunks and we couldn’t see out our windows. I had to run around the house closing windows and then my dad told me we had to hide in the bathroom cause its the safest place in the house. I can still hear trees snapping in the woods and things falling. There’s still some lightening and thunder and frogs and birds are going crazy.
